H2OFF Railway Electric

H2OFF Railway Electric

H2OFF RAILWAY Electric is a unique product, based on nanotechnologies, that restores and improves electrical conductivity of active parts and can thus be used in all electrical contacts even when these are subject to extreme temperatures and conditions. It prevents water molecules from depositing in the protected part avoiding not only the oxidation and corrosion, but also the formation of ice on them. H2OFF RAILWAY Electric can be applied even when electronic components, circuits and equipments are already damaged by humidity. It works also at extreme temperatures from -80°C to +140°C.

PROPERTIES
• Can be applied on wet surfaces
• Thanks to its high capillary capacity fills microcavity and micro
cracks reaching the deepest parts of equipment, without the need to
disassembling them
• Retains conductivity of components in water
• Forms an insulation coating that prevents surface leakage current
• Does not damage metals, plastic, rubber, glass, paint, ceramics and
electric motors
• Penetrates beneath the oxide, which is easier to remove and
prevents its formation
• It allows a considerable maintenance saving

USES
• On veam connectors
• On front-plates and rear-plates of terminal boxes
• On railway switch blade contacts and control contacts of land
devices
• On lamp holders of turnouts diskettes and all light signals

moisture
• On train lights and on all lamp holders
• On electrical equipment, relays, connectors, front-plates, and backplates
• On bushings temperatures detection sensors
• Lamps and contacts located in environmentally difficult places such
as underpasses and inspection pits
• In places with higher fire risk and subject to the ATEX norms as a
guarantee of the supplementary protection than standard precautions
